So people have been asking about why Loki is seen wearing a kind of muzzle in this last scene. Well you Sons of Coul, sit down and let me explain:
In the Nordic mythology (or what tumblr users would probably prefer to call “the acient canon” or something alike) one of Loki’s punishments for behaving badly was to have his lips sewn together.
Now, because the audience would most likely not appreciate seeing Thor sewing Loki in the mouth - Marvel introduced this very unexpected muzzle.
Well, thank Marvel for not always keeping to the acient canon… for example no one would want to see Loki being impregnated by Odins horse.Or see him paired with his lovely wife who shielded him from a snakes dripping poison while he was chained to the earth, never leaving his side except for when she had to empty the bowl that the poison was dripping into.
May I also add his lips were sewn together because he had cut off Sif’s hair, which made Thor really angry since his wife became really sad and depressed.
I keep finding out more and more about Marvel’s interpretation of the myths, and it always impresses me.
I love mythology and take it very seriously.
4 for you Marvel, you go Marvel.

tagging your hate and getting mad at the backlash is like going to a star wars convention in a shirt that says “han solo sucks” and being surprised when someone punches you in the face like what the fuck were you expecting
This is AMAZING. You really get a feel for how this next season’s going to go.
#still better than the CW
